"In life we are all glued to the timeline. Our tomorrows will depend on what we did today. I find the same in tying knots. We start up top where the strands are deliberately spaced...I must be present for every pull and twist."

Jessy Ridgeway explores scale and form to bring macrame out of "craft" and into fine art. Her works range from larger than life rope installations to delicate one-of-a-kind pieces for the home. Ridgeway uses repetition and natural materials to create a sense of harmony in her custom work. Whether the work is 10 ft tall or 5 inches wide, the pieces are designed to offer a sense of harmony to the viewer.
