River Horse Pottery

Laurie Carretta Scupp is an artist and studio potter wo makes narrative poetry from her home studio in Doylestown, PA. Her work is inspired by folk tales and the nature that surrounds us in beautiful Bucks County. She works primarily with hand building functional and sculptural pieces using soft clay slabs, although her work sometimes incorporates thrown, pinched, or coiled components. Many pieces are hand illustrated or have sculpted elements. Her work has been displayed in local galleries as well as two solo instillations in New York City
