Before establishing her creative haven in the heart of Bucks County, Lorraine Cahill’s artistic pursuits led her on an adventure across the nation, delving into the world of fabrics, sewing, and designing costumes that graced the stages of operas, ballets, and independent performances.
Cahill has earned a BFA in Textile Design, accompanied by a minor in Fashion Design, from the prestigious Moore College of Art & Design. The thirst for learning took her even further, as she studied silk painting and fabric dyeing under the guidance of the renowned Japanese designer Kumiko Murashima. At Casa Bizarro, we have a great collection of Lorainne’s free-motion sewing art- where her paintbrush has been replaced for a sewing machine.
