SUSANA ASH

Susana Ash has loved textiles and needle crafts since she was a kid. She went on to get her Apparel Design degree from the University of Delaware and then had a career as a Technical Designer in the New York and Philadelphia garment industry.  In the 90s, she started the Technical Department at Urban Outfitters' corporate headquarters in Philadelphia. 

After stepping away from that industry, Susana started experimenting with applying needle craft techniques to wire. Entirely self taught, she developed methods of crocheting and knitting to produce one of a kind jewelry in sterling silver and gold fill wire with semi precious stones, pearls, crystals and coins. 

She also gives sewing and needle craft lessons in the central Bucks Pennsylvania area at her Doylestown studio as well as in schools and community centers.
